Cardspread exists to answer one question, fast: is this Pokémon card a deal right now? Search any card and we put the cheapest live eBay listing next to its TCGplayer market price, so you can tell at a glance whether it's underpriced before you buy — no flipping between a dozen tabs.
Who's behind it
Cardspread is built and run by Kevin — one independent developer, not a faceless content farm. It started as a way to stop juggling a market-price tab and a dozen eBay searches every time a new set dropped. When you email hello@cardspread.io, you're reaching the person who actually builds the thing.
What we do
For any of thousands of cards across the most-collected sets, we surface the cheapest current eBay listing (shipping included), compare it to the card's market price, and flag genuine discounts. We cover brand-new sets on release and track each card's price over time. Independent and honest by design
Cardspread is an independent, unofficial tool. We are not affiliated with Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, eBay, or TCGplayer. The site is funded through the eBay Partner Network: when you buy through a “Buy on eBay” link we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
That funding model never changes what you see. We don't inflate prices, we don't bury the cheapest listing, and we don't favor listings that pay us more — the whole point of the tool is to find the genuinely lowest price, and a tool that lied about that would be useless. Our prices come from third-party data that can occasionally be stale or mismatched, and we say so plainly rather than pretend the numbers are gospel. Always verify a listing on eBay before buying.
How it's kept fresh
Cardspread is built and maintained independently. Prices are refreshed by an automated background job rather than scraped the moment you load a page, which keeps the data recent while staying within our data providers' limits. We add new sets as they release and are continually widening coverage.
